Systems, Processes & Technology Division Head

Qualification:

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably PRC registered medical professional with updated license.

2. At least 5 years work experience in a hospital setting, with 3 years holding a supervisory or managerial position.

3. Essential knowledge and skills of the principles, methods, materials, equipment and techniques of quality management.

4. Excellent organizational, time management and coordinating skills.

5. Excellent ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and including QA studies and methodology.

6. Sound teaching and facilitation skills.

7. Computer literacy, with knowledge on current software.

8. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, email and Internet.

Job Description

  1. Ensures conformance with DOH, PHIC, ISO, compliance to Data Privacy Act, Safety Standards and Quality Management System standards by ensuring 100% compilation of enumerated sources of Quality Improvement initiatives.
  2. Assures systematic and ongoing review of departmental processes, procedures, activities, equipment performance, and contracted services to increase the department’s efficiency, effectiveness, and quality, with emphasis on the recording of documents.
  3. Supervises a program of internal audits against defined quality performance measures and ensure that effective corrective and follow up actions are taken, ensures maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment and compliance of safe working practices, prepares compliance reports to present and discuss with Quality Management, manages coordination.
  4. Initiates, attends, or facilitates policy review activities.
  5. Identifies areas and projects where there is the potential for improvement of quality to benefit of the service provided by the hospital. Participates in meetings, decision making and policy implementation as directed. Collaborates with Unit/Section/Division Heads in educating and training staff in quality principles and practice.
  6. Cost effectiveness and reduction of operating expense in utilizing resources with the approved budget for the year in operational and administrative functions.
  7. Familiarizes relevant statutory requirements, clinical governance, risk management and quality audit policies and procedures of the hospital and the system of accreditation in use.
  8. Responsible for monitoring of the enumerated sources of Quality Improvement initiatives
