Qualification:
Must be a graduate of RT and has License. Fresh Graduates are welcome to Apply.
Performing therapeutic respiratory procedures (aerosol therapy).
Carrying out diagnostic pulmonary procedures (pulmonary function test, peak flow meter).
Teaching patients how to use incentive spirometers and metered-dose inhalers.
Performing bronchopulmonary drainage.
Assisting with breathing exercises.
Applying universal precautions and using personal protective equipment.
Coordinating with other departments regarding patient care.
Providing brief education to patients and families about their respiratory healthcare needs.
Conducting daily rounds on patients receiving nebulization treatment and ensuring proper machine function.
Acting in the capacity of a superior and performing assigned duties and responsibilities in their absence.
Conducting supported pulmonary procedures.
Ensuring proper documentation in patients’ charts.
Encoding and releasing patients’ results.
Organizing logbooks with patients’ records.
Maintaining stocks and supplies needed for day-to-day operations.
Properly endorsing work to incoming respiratory therapy staff and the pulmonary nurse on duty.
Performing other duties or activities as assigned by a superior from time to time.
