Accounting Manager

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., Business Administration).
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is highly preferred or required.
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Proven experience in preparing financial reports, budgeting, and managing audits. Experience in managing a team and coordinating with various departments.

Job Description

  1. Handles the company General Ledger
  2. In charge in the preparation of Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and its corresponding attachments)
  3. Assist in the preparation of Reports
  4. Review and audit journal entries in FMS
  5. Review withholding tax expanded schedules
  6. Prepare monthly and quarterly ITR
  7. Supervise the Accounts Payable section
  8. Review vouchers and payments to supplier (Trade and Non-Trade)
  9. Monitor and record monthly accrual of expenses
  10. Monitor and record monthly amortization of prepayments
  11. Record manually cost of sales
  12. Process period and post-closing entries
  13. Create new/additional income and balance sheet account
  14. Prepare weekly revenue and admission monitoring
  15. Primary responsible in year-end audit by SGV
  16. Responsible in preparing cleared consolidation reporting package at year end
  17. Assists in the preparation of budget
  18. Develops, implements and maintains general accounting systems and controls, supervises and participates in the review and analysis of accounting records.
  19. Encoding of monthly e-sales report
  20. Prepare inventory list at year end for BIR Submission
  21. Review transactions requested for cancellation/voiding
  22. Review and record inventory adjustments
  23. Handles any task that may be assigned from time to time.
